Market Research concerning the project of establishing a European Train Control System (ETCS)

The launch of the market research was announced in the Public Procurement Journal on 30 March 2020, and via the Public Procurement Journal also in the EU Official Journal (TED) as a part of the project for establishing a level 2 ETCS in the track segment “Czech-German border – Děčín – Ústí nad Labem – Kralupy nad Vltavou”

The contracting authority decided to extend the original deadline for participation in the market research. Thus, parties willing to participate in the market research may still apply by 27 April 2020 12:00 (noon) at the latest, by means of a registration form attached to the request for participation. Evaluation of the research is therefore also postponed and is anticipated to take place in the course of May. The findings and recommendations obtained will be subsequently used in drafting the intent of the project for the segment “Czech-German border – Děčín – Ústí nad Labem – Kralupy nad Vltavou”. The intent of the project should be presented by the end of this year to the Central Commission of the Ministry of Transport for approval.
