Exceptional change of the railway passenger transport timetable as of 4 April

Prague, 29 March 2016 – The Railway Infrastructure Administration prepared as of Monday 4 April an exceptional change of the 2016 railway passenger transport timetable on the lines 010, 031, 148, 170, 181, 250, 270, 280, 320, 330 and the table of Special trains Česká Třebová – Hanušovice. This occurred based on requests of the carriers ČD and LEO Express.

Within this change, long-distance transport incorporates timetable adaptations for selected trains which are already valid now and are related to the safety equipment fire at Bohumín station. These will be valid up to the end of the 2016 timetable, i.e. till 10 December this year. These measures will be perceived especially on the line 270 and consists in finishing and starting journeys of trains at Ostrava Main Station instead of Bohumín, concerning trains No 100, 101, 144, 145, 152, 153, 510, 511, 512, 515, 516, 517, 530, 531, 540 (only on Sundays) and 541 (only on Saturdays). Trains No 112, 113, 116 and 117 will ride in direction from/to Poland outside Bohumín Station.

Time of arrivals and departures at Bohumín Station in direction from/to Poland are also changing, namely for trains No 102, 103, 104, 105, 130 and 131, riding times are changed for night trains in the  Ostrava-Svinov (only train No 403) – Ostrava Main Station – Bohumín section, concerning trains No 402, 403, 404, 405, 406, 407, 408, 409, 442, 443, 444 and 445. On the lines 010, 148, 170, 320 and 330, only departure and arrival stations will be changed for relevant trains, namely Bohumín is replaced by Ostrava Main Station.

We also give notice of changes in trains of the LEO Express company on the lines 010, 270 and 320 which are valid as of 29 February 2016 already. These changes refer to the cancellation of trains No 1350, 1351 on the whole line, the train No 1356 in the section Spišská Nová Ves – Karviná Main Station, extending trains No 1367 and 1358 (these trains ride daily now) to/from Prešov with direct coaches to/from Košice and a change of the journey for trains No 1353 and 1362, which newly do not ride on Tuesdays.

Several more railway passenger regional transport timetable adaptations were also made based on requests of the carrier ČD and respective administrative regions. From these we extract the following ones:

  • in Pardubice Region on the line 031 Pardubice – Hradec Králové – Jaroměř, selected trains newly stop at Opatovice nad Labem-Pohřebačka Station;
  • in Plzeň Region on the line 181 Nýřany – Heřmanova Huť, all trains newly stop at the renewed Přehýšov stop;
  • on the Special trains table on the line Česká Třebová – Hanušovice (occasional nostalgic trains drawn by a steam locomotive) a change of the riding period occurs for trains No 20016 and 20017.

Although this change has a limited extent we recommend passengers to verify the current situation before starting their journey on lines mentioned above. All changes will be published on the websites www.szdc.cz and www.cd.cz as well as at respective railway stations.
