Full expert reports on Výtoň Bridge are publicly available now
While the participants of the colloquium already agreed on the first six points during the expert meeting, they were given a longer time to formulate conclusions for the seventh point, i.e. an overall statement on the options for the bridge solution with their pros and cons. The complete reports were handed over to the Minister of Transport precisely one week ago.
“Now it is time to take a closer look at the results of the technical colloquium. At the end of the year, a final decision will be made on the future shape of the bridge. However, we cannot afford to wait until then, so the project documentation for the design that emerged from the architectural competition is being prepared in parallel,” said Minister of Transport Martin Kupka.
An independent expert group oversees the preparation of the documentation at the request of the Minister of Transport. Its task is to determine the conditions under which the winning proposal could be implemented. The initial meeting with the participation of the heritage experts, the City of Prague, the Prague Institute of Planning and Development (IPR), Technical Road Administration of the City of Prague (TSK), the Prague Public Transit Company, the Prague 2 and Prague 5 municipal districts took place on 8 March.
