Geodesists work on mapping documents for high-speed lines in Vysočina and Moravská brána
Currently, the so called camera acquisition is being carried out on the terrain surface, i.e. the orientation of the points of contact by means of aerial photogrammetry. This creates the basis for the creation of the digital model. In the coming months, surveyors with measuring instruments will also be on the ground. The aim of the geodetic work is to accurately measure the terrain and the position of objects in the area where the construction of the high-speed railway is planned.
“We would like to emphasise that people can direct any questions regarding geodetic works and the preparation of the high-speed railway in general directly to the e-mail address vrt@spravazeleznic.cz. We know from experience that quick and timely communication helps to resolve any misunderstandings. Workers in the field must always respect the nature of the site. We thank everybody for cooperation,” Jakub Bazgier, Director of High-Speed Lines Construction Management, explains on behalf of Správa železnic.
VRT Vysočina fáze II a VRT Moravská brána I are some of the last sections where geodetic work has not yet been carried out. In the past, Správa železnic has already conducted several similar measurements in places where the construction of new lines is planned. However, there is a possibility to carry out additional, complementary measurements.
