Reconstruction of the railway superstructure and all related infrastructure elements is being carried out in the whole section. Work is proceeding according to schedule so that trains can return to the corridor after a one-year closure from 11 December. After the line is put into operation, the completion of the construction will take place, but it will not have significant impact on railway traffic.

Long-distance traffic between Brno and Prague will return to the corridor line from the diversion via Vysočina in the middle of the next year. After the modernised section becomes operational, some works not affecting the railway traffic will be finalised.
