An Exceptional Change in Rail Passenger Transport

Správa železniční dopravní cesty prepared by Monday, February 13 an exceptional change of timetable for rail passenger transport in 2017 on six lines. It happened in response to requests of carriers ČD and RegioJet.


In the context of this change in long-distance transport on lines 010, 250 and 260, there is a line extension of the train Ex 573 of the carrier ČD from Brno Hlavní nádraží (Brno Main Station) up to Břeclav on a daily basis. On lines 010, 270, 321, trains 1035 and 1038 of the carrier RegioJet will newly stop in Kolín, the train 1003 in Česká Třebová and Ostrava-Stodolní.


Some other minor adjustments of timetable of passenger railway regional transport were made in response to requests of the carrier ČD and the respective regions:

  • New trains are introduced on workdays in South Bohemia Region on the line 220: 8220 České Budějovice 6:33 – Veselí nad Lužnicí 7:30 and 8221 Veselí nad Lužnicí 10:42 – České Budějovice 11:28.
  • In South Bohemia Region on the line 250, there are changes in the order of minutes of time position of the train 4631 in the section Hrušovany u Brna – Ladná which were caused by the extension of the ride of the train Ex 573 to Břeclav.


Although this change is of minimum extent, we recommend passengers to check the current status of train connections before departure on the above-mentioned lines. All these changes are published on the website www.szdc.cz and in the respective railway stations.
