Exceptional Change of Railway Passenger Transport Timetable as of 9 April

Správa železniční dopravní cesty prepared as of Monday 9 April an exceptional change of the railway passenger transport timetable 2018 for more than a dozen of lines. This occurred based on requests of the carriers ČD, LEO Express and ARRIVA vlaky.


Within this change, regular operation start of trains No 1342, 1343, 1354, 1355, 1364 and 1365 assured by the carrier Leo Express on the lines 010, 270 and 330 will be postponed up to 1 August 2018. On 30 April and 7 May 2018, the company ARRIVA vlaky will not be operating its through trains Praha hlavní nádraží – Benešov u Prahy on the line 221.

This change includes other partial modifications of the regional passenger transport timetable as requested by carriers based on orders from the respective regions:

  • In Hradec Králové Region, the train No 5731 will run on the lines 040 and 044 in the section Vrchlabí – Kunčice nad Labem daily, the trains No 25700 and 25701 will run only on working days; a new train No 25740 is introduced for weekends.
  • In South Moravia Region, times of running change for trains No 14630 and 14631 on the line 254 in order to improve trains’ change at Šakvice.
  • In Liberec Region on the lines 030, 035, 036, 041 and 070, fast trains No 1148/1145 and 1144/1151 are extended up to Harrachov on weekends. This is related to more triggered service modifications for these and other fast trains within the connection Praha – Tanvald, the running of the through train No 1910 one hour sooner on the whole line Liberec – Kořenov and reducing the through train No 1913 only to the section Turnov – Rovensko pod Troskami (in the section Tanvald – Turnov, this train will be newly joined with the fast train No 1145). The train No 5553 Turnov – Rovensko pod Troskami is cancelled.


Although the extent of this change is minimal, we recommend passengers to check the current state of their train connection before boarding trains on the lines mentioned above. All these changes are published on the website www.szdc.cz and at the respective railway stations. More information can be acquired at passenger cash desks and carriers’ information centres.
