New Version of Interactive Map of Správa železnic Offers Additional Functionalities
Current map was launched in 2019 and contains basic information on investment activities of Správa železnic, significant repair work and upcoming Rapid Connections, including high-speed lines. The modified version preserves ease of use, intuitive operation and brings expanded functionality, a wider range of available information and new search options, while adding additional categories.

Ceremonial Completion of Line Section Modernisation from Beroun to Králův Dvůr
Closing ceremony of the 3rd corridor modernisation of the Central Bohemian town Beroun to the Králův Dvůr took place with attendance of the Minister of Transport Karel Havlíček in Beroun today. Modernisation also included the complete reconstruction of the Beroun railway station. These works were followed by a comprehensive reconstruction of the station building last year.

Optimisation of Praha-Smíchov – Černošice Line Enters Last Third
Praha-Radotín station will undergo a major change this year. In addition to the modernised platforms with a standard height of 550 mm above the track, it will also receive new elevators, which will ensure barrier-free access to the reconstructed pedestrian underpass. The modernisation of the Praha-Radotín station is part of the optimisation of the Praha-Smíchov – Černošice line, which began in August 2019. The total investment costs reach CZK 3.6 billion; the construction is co-financed by the European Union from the CEF programme.

Reconstruction of Station Building at Pilsen's Main Railway Station Will Begin
Správa železnic has selected a contractor for the reconstruction of the listed station building at Pilsen's main railway station. It became the SPOLEČNOST NÁDRAŽÍ PLZEŇ company, which consists of Metrostav DIZ as the leading partner, other partners are OHL ŽS and AVERS. The bid price of the winning candidate reached 667,930,039 crowns without VAT. The start of work is planned for May, it should take two and a half years.

Modernisation of Railway Line between Pardubice and Stéblová Begins
Reconstruction of the existing and construction of a new second track, increase of the line speed up to 160 km/h and implementation of new platforms is the goal of modernisation of the railway line between Pardubice-Rosice nad Labem and Stéblová. It starts just these days and it will be carried out by the association of the companies Skanska a.s. and Elektrizace železnic Praha a.s. for nearly 2.7 billion crowns.

Správa železnic Starts Corridor Modernisation between Ústí nad Orlicí and Brandýs nad Orlicí
Festive opening of the construction started the reconstruction of one of the last unmodernised sections of the first corridor between Ústí nad Orlicí and Brandýs nad Orlicí on the last day of April. Within its framework, the current appearance of the Brandýs nad Orlicí station will be changed significantly, and the Bezpráví stop will be replaced by a branching-off point. The contractor of works worth CZK 3.396 billion is the companies association of EUROVIA CS, Chládek a Tintěra, Pardubice, Elektrizace železnic Praha and GJW Praha. The construction will be funded by Blending Call programme, based on a combination of a contribution from the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) and a loan from the European Investment Bank.

Opening of Správa železnic Information Centre at Prague Main Station
Railway infrastructure manager expands the possibilities of communication with the public. The next step in fulfilling this plan is the opening of Správa železnic Information Centre in the lower part of the new lobby at Prague main railway station. It will be open every day of the week. Part of today's program at the busiest station in the Czech Republic was the ceremonial signing of a contract for the interiors reconstruction of the historic Fanta building.

Správa železnic Presented Current State of Preparation of High-Speed Lines in the Czech Republic
Správa železnic presented the current state of preparation of high-speed lines (HSL) in the Czech Republic today. We are currently in the pre-investment phase of the entire program, with the start of construction work on the first pilot sections expected in 2025.

Trains Can Use ETCS System in Line Section from Český Brod to Praha-Uhříněves
Správa železnic continues to implement the pan-European Train Control System (ETCS) on its network. Its installation has also been completed in the line section from Český Brod to Praha-Uhříněves. This was the first phase of work within the investment project called ETCS Kralupy nad Vltavou – Praha – Kolín. The contractor of the construction is the company AŽD.
