Constructors Have Completed the Modernization of Railway Station Český Těšín
Český Těšín, 15 December 2016 – Today, Správa železniční dopravní cesty (the Czech Railway Infrastructure Administration) ceremonially finished a complete reconstruction of Český Těšín station. The investments worth over one billion crowns followed a formerly completed optimization of the line Bystřice nad Olší – Český Těšín, of which it is the second part.

SŽDC Launched Minor Repairs of Stations in Morava, Slezsko and Vysočina
By taking over the management of stations in summer this year, Správa železniční dopravní cesty launched preparation and realization of the most necessary reparation works by the end of this year. Almost forty station buildings in Morava, Slezsko and Vysočina will be improved for almost 52 million crowns. It is usually about repairing the facades, roofs and replacing of doors or windows. The administrator of railways also plans to launch complete reparations of stations in Lipník nad Bečvou, Kuřim and Břeclav next year.

Stops on the Ústí nad Labem-Střekov-Děčín východ Line Relocated Closer to Villages
Ústí nad Labem, 8 December 2016 – Správa železniční dopravní cesty (the Czech Railway Infrastructure Administration) improved parameters on the railway line Ústí nad Labem-Střekov – Děčín východ. The main objective of the project was to achieve a technical state corresponding to EU parameters and standards.

Operation on the Line Jaroměř – Stará Paka Now Safer and More Economic
Dvůr Králové nad Labem, 6 December 2016 – Správa železniční dopravní cesty (the Czech Railway Infrastructure Administration) festively completed modernisation of safety equipment on the line Jaroměř – Stará Paka. The project’s objective was especially an increasing of operation safety on the railway by limiting the human factor influence and an introducing of safety equipment remote control.

Revitalisation of the Line Frýdlant nad Ostravicí – Valašské Meziříčí Improved Its Parameters
Frýdlant nad Ostravicí, 1 December 2016 – Správa železniční dopravní cesty (the Czech Railway Infrastructure Administration) improved parameters of a part of the railway line Frýdlant nad Ostravicí – Valašské Meziříčí. The main objective of the project was its putting into a technical shape which would correspond to EU parameters and standards.

SŽDC Converts to Central Mode of Purchase
Správa železniční dopravní cesty deals in a long term with effective possible savings while purchasing commodities necessary for repair, maintenance and modernisation works on Czech railway networks. Now it came with a solution of a central mode of material purchase which will allow it to save dozens of millions Czech crowns per year.

SŽDC Decided on Infrastructure Capacity Allocation on the Line Praha - Brno
Správa železniční dopravní cesty decided within the legitimate term, i.e. up to 30 November 2016 on allocating infrastructure capacity in case of applications submitted by the carriers České dráhy and RegioJet for identical connection routes on the line Praha – Brno. The infrastructure manager had to wait i.a. for the court decision concerning a claim of one of the carriers for issuing a preliminary measure consisting in a prohibition of infrastructure allocation on the required train route to the other carrier.

Praha-Hostivař Railway Station Got a Modern Shape
Prague, 29 November 2016 – Today, Správa železniční dopravní cesty (the Czech Railway Infrastructure Administration) festively completed the reconstruction of Praha-Hostivař railway station as the first step of an extensive project having as objective to modernise the Prague railway junction in the section from Hostivař almost up to the Main Station.
